PushCrankPress Wins Big In Local American Advertising Awards

PushCrankPress has been a member of the Dothan chapter of the American Advertising Federation since 2012. Through this organization, we have been able to create meaningful relationships with other agencies, media companies, and businesses in the Wiregrass area. Through AAF Dothan, we foster these relationships in hopes of creating a cultural arts movement within our local market.

Every year AAF Dothan hosts the American Advertising Awards locally for creative excellence in advertising. This year we were awarded 3 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze American Advertising Award for work we created for our amazing clients in 2018. We are grateful to have clients that encourage creativity and innovation when working on their projects. We hope to continue branching out and developing memorable work for the Wiregrass area and beyond.

About the American Advertising Awards

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most represented competition, attracting more than 40,000 entries every year from local ad club competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.

 

About the American Advertising Federation

The American Advertising Federation Dothan was organized in 1976 and is a chartered member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) – a national, professional organization of advertising agencies, suppliers, media and advertisers as well as members from the marketing and public relations field. As a member of AAF Dothan, we are also members of the 7th District of AAF, which includes 29 clubs in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Wiregrass Museum of Art

We have worked with the Wiregrass Museum of Art since 2014. During this time we have helped create different print and digital pieces for their brand, exhibitions, events, and programs. The Alabama Reckoner book showcased the artwork of artist, Doug Baulos. His sculptures were portraits of artists important in his life. Each piece is associated with a different artist that helped shape Doug and his work. This is one exhibition that we enjoyed working on with WMA.

Annually the hottest party of the year comes to the front lawn of the Wiregrass Museum of Art. We worked with WMA’s team to create the brand identity for Yard Party for Art since its beginning in 2015 and have continued bringing this event to life every year since. The art inspired team at WMA strive to provide the Dothan area with art education opportunities, family-friendly event, and more. We took on the task of creating a centralized location to house the plethora of information. At the start of 2018, we launched their website, wiregrassmuseum.org. This user-friendly site is your one-stop shop for all things WMA. Need to register your child for an upcoming art class? There are forms on standby.

We value our ever-evolving relationship with the Wiregrass Museum of Art. The importance of art education in our community couldn’t be more prudent and WMA continues to provide these opportunities to all children and art lovers alike.

 

Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine

The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine requested the help of our team to develop a website that showcases the professional and educational opportunities that are available to students who enroll at this esteemed institution. We launched their site, acom.edu, in 2018 with the support of their marketing team. This site was designed to bring a user-friendly experience to all who encounter the college, including current and potential students, faculty, and supporters.

 

Dothan Education Foundation

Our team has enjoyed working with the Dothan Education Foundation on their Sponsorship Packet. The DEF uses this piece as a sales kit to educate current and potential corporate sponsors on the amazing things they do to support equal educational opportunities for students in Dothan. Our goal as an agency was to transform their collateral to look on-brand and engage potential sponsors. After the completion of this project, we believed that DEF’s new Sponsorship Packet has become a valuable member of their team.

 

Golden Trading Company

Golden Trading Company partnered with PushCrankPress to help with a project that would solidify a cohesive image of their brand. We developed a new logo design for Golden Trading Company which translated into various production collateral pieces, such as business cards, banners, and postcards. Our team hoped to create a new look that would help this client become more grounded and distinct from their competition.

Being able to identify our brand and align our goals with our diverse client base is very important to us. The work may have come from us, but without our amazing clients, we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to create award-winning work. create work worthy of an American Advertising Award.

All of the work awarded a GOLD ADDY will be forwarded to the District level for judging. If any of our work wins an award at the district level, it then has the opportunity to be showcased on a national stage. Stay tuned for further updates as our work moves on to the next level of competition.
