PCP Receives 7 American Advertising Awards

PushCrankPress has been a proud member of the American Advertising Federation since 2012. Each year, we look for new ways to bring award-winning Brand New ideas to the table. This year at AAF Dothan’s local competition, we were honored to receive 7 American Advertising Awards – 3 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Judges’ Choice awards and the Best of Show. The awards that were earned were created for McDaniel & Associates, Visit Dothan and the Wiregrass Children’s Home.

The award-winning work for McDaniel & Associates was part of a logo redesign. We were ecstatic to be a part of the rebranding for M+A with a new logo that felt fresh, modern and best represented who they are today. This logo won a Judges Choice award and a Gold American Advertising Award.

The award-winning Wiregrass Children’s Home website redesign helped bring the client’s vision to life. We were able to do this through custom illustrations and were thrilled to receive a Gold American Advertising award for this website.

The work for Visit Dothan was part of a campaign to elevate postcards sent to help pique the interest of others and encourage people to visit dothan. The postcard campaign won Best of Show and a Gold American Advertising Award.

What exactly is an American Advertising Award?

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most represented competition, attracting nearly 35,000 entries every year in local AAF competitions. Every year AAF Dothan hosts the local American Advertising Awards competition for all creatives in the Wiregrass and surrounding areas. Those who place are given either Gold or Silver American Advertising Awards.

To compete for an American Advertising Award, contestants must submit their best work from various disciplines, including Sales & Marketing, Print Advertising, Out-Of-Home & Ambient Media, and Online/Interactive, to name a few. Judges are brought in to evaluate all submitted work and then reward the most creative and well-executed projects.

We enjoy participating in the local American Advertising Awards each year because our business operates at lightning speed, and we don’t take much time to reflect on our year’s work. This award celebration gives us time to celebrate our accomplishments and those in our area.
