Bringing Home the Gold: AAF Dothan’s American Advertising Awards
There’s nothing quite like the American Advertising Awards here in Dothan, AL. Not only is it a competition among our local friends and colleagues, but it’s also a way to recognize all of the hard work and creativity throughout the Wiregrass area. We are so grateful to create work for our clients that all of us here at PushCrankPress are passionate about; then, being able to submit our work to the American Advertising Awards and reflect on this past year was the perfect motivation to continue doing what we love and moving our clients forward.
The American Advertising Awards
The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most represented competition, with a mission to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. An “ADDY” is the name of the award given to recognize those who place either Gold, Silver, or Bronze.
Entering the American Advertising Awards supports the entire advertising industry. This year’s local event was entirely virtual. Several professional entries and student entries submitted their best work from various disciplines such as Sales & Marketing, Print Advertising, Out-of-Home & Ambient Media, and Online/interactive, to name a few. Judges were then able to evaluate all online submissions of work and rewarded the most creative and well-executed campaigns.
We were thankful to participate in this year’s American Advertising Awards, reflect on this past year, and celebrate the resilience of all the creatives in our local community. We received the Best of Show Award, a Judges Choice Award, two Gold American Advertising Awards, and two Silver American Advertising Awards.

Visitors Guide
This Visitors Guide was created to help assist travelers when planning their visit to Dothan. It is specifically designed to capture readers’ attention and to help explore the key events happening around the area. It boasts insider tips on who to see and what to do while you’re in town. We had a great time developing this one of a kind piece. The vibrant colors and custom illustrations really set it apart and draw in visitors to want to explore Dothan’s offerings.

Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation
Brand Identity
The Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation was looking for a new brand identity that had a modern look and was a direct reflection of their natural appeal to Colorado scenery. The rebrand included a new website to help support the expansion of Jefferson County as well as the optimized energy that defines their community.

Dothan Area Convention & Visitors Bureau Dixie Youth Baseball
Collateral
Dothan was home for the 2022 Dixie Youth Baseball Division I & II Coach Pitch World Series. This tournament had 22 teams from 11 states playing for the championship title. This collateral really hit a home run with its classic branding and enticing formatting.

Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center
Website
It was such a pleasure to work with the Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center to create a new website to reflect the meaningful work that their organization does. This website was brought to life through a clean new look and custom illustrations throughout the site.
We are so proud of our team for all of the hard work that has gone into each of these campaigns this past year. We are so grateful for the opportunity to work with our wonderful clients who allow us to create Brand New Ideas that gain recognition from the American Advertising Awards and beyond.
